I will add my voice to the HST+ transmission. When I purchased my tractor, it was more so for the cab. As I have used it over the last year, the importance of the HST+ transmission has come to light. It is a feature that I would not have considered important, but now will look for on any tractor that I would purchase in the future.

As a happy Kioti owner, I will also say the the HST+ transmission, exclusive to Kubota would figure highly into my buying decision if I was in the market.

I had a similar dilemma last year but it was between an LS and Kubota L. $8000 was too large a difference to buy what I wanted instead of what I needed. And the LS would fit under my garage door (93") so that saved even more $$$.
If money is not a factor, get the Kubota.

Sorry folks I just wasn’t impressed with the + trans. Still won’t dig into a pile without shifting just like any other tractor. Stall guard worked, the tractor didn’t stall but the bucket still came out nearly empty just like with any tractor being run in too high of a gear.
I would not let the trans be a deciding factor in the purchase based on how it worked when I tested it out in the real world.
Personally Comfort for me would be the most important factor between two capeable machines.

I ran my for maybe three hours today using my ditch bank flail mower and thought on your question a good bit. If cab tractor be sure you play around enough in each to be sure how the cab fits you. I am about 5'7" and 240 pounds. I wonder how comfortable a man 6 foot and say 250 might find my cab to be? I have no idea how the Kioti cab compares.
In my mowing I was cutting road shoulders and nothing special there but then went to newly sprigged hay field that needed to be mowed back to the grass would spread. Some areas were sparse and in other areas was very thick and tall. Set my throttle for 540 pto and began to mow in mid range in low speed. Speed was just under 4 mph. Once got use to the field found could got to high speed in mid range (by just pulling the lever up) which gave me a speed of 6.2 mph. When moving a few acres the 50% increase in speed is nice. I was shifting to suit the grass being mowed. The two speed transmission sure was great for my use today. Nope it will not solve a person trying to do everything in high range, but I have used it for loader and grapple work the same. Mid range, low speed to load or haul heavy load and mid range high speed when running back to get another load in high speed. I also like the auto throttle, had not set it up and carried it in for 50 hour service and the shop had it on when it came back. Really like it. Kioti may have it and other functions. As have said not familiar with their tractors. Oh, in the process of mowing road ditches really bogged down today. As I said sure to like being able to use the right door...had to today, left door could not open due to ditch bank just inches from the left door and tractor bogged deep enough door could not clear it.
Reason I point the right door out is the MX is in same range as the L6060 right door is not unlockable from the outside. Know it did not have ability to unlock but not sure it had handle to even open it from the outside. Dealer told me later they could installed an L handle on it to solve the issue.
