Never bagged leaves. Just discharge inward until about to choke up. Then make a round discharging outward. Then go back to inward. Worked well on 5 acres of church property with lots of mature oak trees. Leaves do not acidify the soil. Do initially but then go neutral.I am looking at adding a bagger for fall use. I actually like the mowing with the fine cut 54" deck without bagging, though I cut pretty often and the results look great to me. But when the fall comes heavy debris and leaves will need something more. Does anyone here own the bagger and does it work well and any other thoughts? thank you
