With the help of Home Depot associate I found a blank #24 and it took only 10 minutes or so to make a working copy of my B1750 Kubota ignition key.

I will do anything to avoid the dealer

Great, I do anything to avoid the home depot key makers

-I was in HD one day, listened to the SR. HD employee instruct the new HD employee on how to avoid customers so they wouldn't have to make keys. They had this conversation in front of a customer they were making a key for.

Go see your local locksmith next time. They have them. They dont however have the new BX keys and cant get them. Dealer only on the BX

I've just kept the spare key to Kubota tractors I've sold over the years. They all still work in everything.

They are all the same, any kubota key will work in any Kubota. The dealer don't make them they just keep them in stock.

Ah, I didn't say I bought the blank and made the key myself, HD would not make a copy the way I wanted it.

Cab model keys are nothing like the open station keys.

Not exactly true, I have three different Kubota keys, and there are probably a couple or more that I don't have.

New Holland is making good use of the large B series Kubota key nowdays.

Engineers like to solve problems. If there are no problems handily available, they will create their own problems.

I work in as an "engineering/architectural AutoCad Technician" so am surrounded by Engineers and Architects. That statement I see proven true every day.

Leave the key in the machine, put a hand grenade under the seat with a piece of fishing line tied to the pin and back on the barn.
It may get stolen but you'll know who took it!
