My 121s did the same thing - turned out to be the key switch

Common first mistake is to not take it out of 'running' position before ignition. Never had an issue in the 2 years I have owned mine... except the second time I tried to run it. :ashamed:

Well, here we are, almost a year later. I'm at just over 65 hours on the z121s & I'm pretty comfortable on it by now. Im not convinced it saves me a ton of time, but likely a little - - we've got lots of trees to cut around. No problems to report. It is fun to operate!

Have had Kubota tractors for 30 years. Adding a zero turn this year. If you can walk and chew gum they are a good tool. Will keep the tractors for the steep hills.
