At 1800 hours my 2006 KX41-3V (2ton) track rollers are ruined.
Apparently the tracks are NOT compatible with Kubota rollers and have ruined the rollers.

In the pic you can see the rollers are 22mm and the track drive is 36mm,
thus allowing the trak to offset ~7mm where it digs into the roller bearing housing.

Is there anyone on here with KUBOTA tracks who can get me a measurement of the track drive width?
If you have a KX41-3v (or U15 or U17 ~2ton) with Kubota tracks can you measure the track drive width?

I don’t have a kubota that size to take a measurement but I believe those tracks will come in two guide widths . Evidently you’ve got the wide and need the narrow . Even though the 3 main size numbers are identical they come in either a narrow or wide guide width , sometimes there’s a letter after the 3 numbers that denotes this. I’d imagine there also too wide for your drive sprockets .
Evidently at some time they were replaced with non oem tracks. I would think if you called a reputable track dealer and told them what you have they could pretty quick tell you what you need. Bummer but it happens.

measure U17 track roller dimensions.jpg

If there's any U17s out there, or a KX41 with S/N 40001 or newer, can you get me these dimensions?
If your track has a 58mm guide width the new style rollers might solve my problem.

Need:
1) inside mounting width
2) track guide width
3) Roller inside width
4) (diameter of roller too?)
5) width of the drive-sprocket

Thanks very much!!!

KX41 dims for new spool type rollers.jpg
Here are some more dimensions for my quest to determine if I can continue using the
960x96x35B track (on my "A" size machine) by changing over to the new size roller RG158-21700.

TAKE Note that using the 960x96x35B wide track, the wide track guide destroys your track rollers.

OK here's what I did.
wider roller flange.jpg
The center flange of the roller needs to be 1/2" wider to hold the track in place, so I had sendcutsend.com cut me some 3.1" x 4.3"OD x .25 thick washers.
beveled washers.jpg
I beveled them with a 12T hydr press.
Easily..... it's soft A36 steel.
bent strap welded.jpg

Then welded them "around' the rollers.
I hope they can survive awhile.
grease-filled zerk.jpg

Then, since the seals were breached and oil dumped out....
I added grease zerks and drilled access holes.

Just about ready to get digging again!
Kubota U17 track roller ArtTuftee-2.jpg

I have a friend with a modern U17 that has the spool-type rollers.
I'll see how it fits the old 41-3v (eventually) whicj may be a better roller for a 41-3v that has 'too-wide" B tracks
Unless someone on TBN can get me the info sooner.
