Kind of a simple question, and I could not find anything like this so I am posting a new link. Welding on excavator track idler roller

Can I build this worn area up with a weld bead? How can i find out if this roller is weldable? it works npw and will work for awhile if i don't weld it. but i don't want it to crack if I weld it. For that case I'd be better off just running it out.

Kubota KX41-3V track and roller not compatible (U15, U17 too?)

At 1800 hours my 2006 KX41-3V (2ton) track rollers are ruined. Apparently the tracks are NOT compatible with Kubota rollers and have ruined the rollers. In the pic you can see the rollers are 22mm and the track drive is 36mm, thus allowing the trak to offset ~7mm where it digs into the roller...

    Loud Popping from Excavator Track

I've got a new KX040 with about 20 hours on it, half a dozen times now the tracks have made a load popping .. which I assume is a mis-alignment on the sprocket as it follows a tight turn. I try to exercise good practice and keep both tracks moving when turning. I think I know the cause, the...

Tractor or skid steer? Just bought 150 acres.

I need help figuring out what to buy! Please tell me what YOU would do! And how YOU would approach this project. We just bought a 150 acre farm (all crop land). All of it is rolling hills - nothing terribly steep, but not flat either. In the next year or so, I need to: 1. Cut and grade an...

    Table saw versus track saw

I need to buy either a table saw or track saw. Not sure which to purchase? My needs are typical for a table saw, which is what I am familiar with. Ripping fence pickets to become a little narrower, doing cutoffs on half size fence pickets, and occasionally cutting plywood. (Although I often use...

Is this a good price on a 2023 Kubota SV97-2 Track Steer

Considering the same sales book had listed a 2016 SV95-2 with 2,000 hrs. for $56,000, $82,000 for a 2023 seems a good price?? Not buying, just posting.

Kubota mini excavator KX41-2V left track issues

The left track of my excavator (Kubota KX41-2V) does not have enough power to make a turn. I replaced the left final drive but that didn't solve the problem. So I connected an extra set of hoses directly from the control valve left travel section to the drive motor, but no difference. The...

Jump Starting a 24 Volt Track Hoe

Morning all. Thought I would post this up in case anyone ever has a need to know. I'm sure it's common knowledge for some. I did forget to mention to unhook the batteries from the 12v donor. Could possibly end bad if you don't...

    KX057 Excavator: Track wear question

I just bought a KX057-5 and it's my first excavator (for property maintenance). I've been doing a lot of research trying to educate myself on operation and common maintenance. Anyway, I've only got 5 hours on the machine and I noticed that the tracks are showing metal on the "lugs" that I...
