Kubota L 3700 SU

We're just trying to help you with your purchase. Many of us here have bought from dealers quite a distance away. I bought a tractor 400 miles away and did all my own service and warranty work as well. The quick attach option just makes your tractor an even more versatile tool. I used to drop my bucket to mow grass just to improve vision and airflow. There are probably 100 different attachments for your bucket. So when a need you hadn't envisioned comes up you could mount a different tool to your bucket. Good luck with your purchase.

Now that's funny.

I believe you will really like your tractor and Kubotas are really easy to maintain. We do all of our own service.

The post was sent with a smile on my face! Thanks for your reply, I was concerned that offense would be taken:p.

Just to clarify this "mess" regarding what is standard, which started it all off, I quote my dealer: "The L3700 is available with both the LA463FL loader (pin-on bucket) and the LA463-1 loader (QA bucket)." The QA bucket is not standard, but an option at 500 to 600 extra dollars.

I was looking for the best price on an L3700SU with a 60" SQ160 cutter and a 60" box blade. I got what I asked for at a price that was "down and dirty".

Among other tasks completed in my varied career, I rebuilt a new Hitachi Rock Bucket that had failed a quarry, shortly after delivery. In addition to gussets, plates and such, we provided new bosses and pins, 6" diameter on the pins to give you an idea, line bored the bosses and had to reassemble the rig to the loader frame, in front of the Japanese sellers and the quarry owners. Thank god for CO2 fire extinguishers and torches to shrink/swell pieces, but we got her pinned. With that in my rear view mirror and really no NEED to attach other implements to the loader frame, I'm $500 ahead of the game.

I sincerely appreciate this site and have covered over 350 pages of posts to smoke out various issues/solutions. Some of you guys need however to understand that not every user needs a yard full of front end implements. I'm not in this for the collection, I'm in this for the targeted duty of a specific range of tools.

QA attachment on an L3700SU is NOT standard nor is it needed, for my application.

Thank you all.

I am glad you were able to get something to fit your needs and know you will be very happy with it. I have sought and benefited from the advice of many very knowledgeable people on this site for my last two tractors. In the end you just have to weigh how it applies to your own situation and do what works best for you.

Would somebody following this thread be kind enough to post the overall length of the L3700SU *including* the front loader and the 3P?

I'm trying to determine whether I could make one fit in a garage where I don't have a ton of space.

Much appreciated!

I store mine in a structure that is 14' in depth. The tractor and FEL fit but anything attached to the rear is pretty much outside. One of these days I will clean out another bay in my barn and store it beside my JD. But so far that day hasn't come.

I saw your other post; keep in mind that putting a tractor with FEL into a confined space can lead to mishaps (at least until you get used to it). The FEL sticks out further than you think. It seems to want to hit things as you back out.

I park mine in a standard carport, and it holds the entire tractor with fel and rotary cutter attached. The carport is 22 feet deep. Everything is covered, but not much room at either end.

I was hoping someone might measure their tractor in feet and inches, tip-to-tip, including 3P and front loader. Thanks!

My 3400 is 13' 4", the same as the L3700. It'll be a couple inches longer with a QA bucket.

Just bought the L3700. It was only about $500 more than the L3400 without hydro trans. Had the extra hp and hydro trans. which is suppose to be standard with the L3700.

L3700 does not come with the draw bar (cost me an extra $100) and doesn't have the raised lettering on the decals. Paid $17800.00 before taxes.

Where did you get that price if you don't mind me asking? That might just be worth me driving from NC to deal.

If you haven't got a price from Barlows then I say you haven't been pricing.:)
