Update, I don't think my unit is running as cools as I indicated in the previous post. The temp probe is installed where the drain cock was located on the bottom of the raditor. Not a lot of fluid flows by it at this location. I am trying to find a location on the block that will allow me to move it.

Glad to hear the drill hole & thermo worked out.
