Kubota L2244 - 4 in 1 bucket

For those that do have a 4-in-1, can you clamp onto a wood post or T-steak and pull it out of the ground? I know this is totally dependent on loader strength, depth of post, type of soil, whether it's set in concrete or not, etc etc, but what I'm getting at is being able to clamp onto the post using the jaws, instead of wrapping chain around the post and using the bucket hooks if so equipped.

Yes, will likely bend the t stake.

Yep, easy to bend whatever you are trying to "grab". As mentioned earlier, steep learning curve. Especially since you are already familiar with a Grapple. They have no similarities, at all, operate completely different.

In your case, you skipped a progressive step, and are now filling in the blank. :)

A regular bucket is the beginning. Then a 4n1. Then a Grapple.

I built my Grapple using a Bobcat LoPro bucket as a base. So for me I have to look hard to find the advantage of the 4n1. Mine is on a TLB. If I'm hoeing and then need to pick up something it's handy. If I have considerable amount of "Grappling" type work I just switch tractors. The 4n1 simply isn't a Grapple.

Anxious to hear your reviews after you have used it awhile. :)
