Kubota l3130 split pin plug leaking.

I have a l3130 that is leaking hydraulic fluid from the spilt pin plug and i want to know what that means.

If you are talking about the one in the clutch housing, I think there is an old thread on here somewhere, but I can't find it, sorry.

yes the one in the clutch housing. i think from what i read on here that its the input shaft seal. how much of a pain in the butt is it to change?

Wish I could help, but on stuff like that my solution is to call Davis Farm Supply and have them come pick it up.

If hyd oil it's the seal or gasket in the housing that the shaft goes in, behind the cluch bearing. If it's black engine oil it's the rear main seal. Eather way the tractor has to be splite. When apart check the housing and make sure it is flat. Not a hard job just a lot of time.I had to do it on my L4240.

By the way to get the housing off there are 2 holes that are threaded all the way thru and you screw a bolt into them and it backs the housing off.
