Another factor to consider is resale/trade value/residual. Unless you plan to keep the unit for 20+ years, that $3000 difference would decrease by the relative difference in that residual. And it intuitively seems that the Kubota would have a larger resale market, and thus a higher residual, and therefore efectively a lower price.
