Kubota L3301 issues

I've been thinking about putting LED lights in the slots for my original lights. As you say, what came on it isn't much better than putting a couple of candles on the top of the bucket.

Look on Amazon part number p15d it’s a motorcycle bulb. I upgraded last year there is a huge difference

Gotta be careful. Kubota uses bulbs with a slotted base. Kind of hard to find.
They’re also a PITA to put in, standing on your head over the engine trying to get the darned thing apart.

My neighbor has a L3200 with gear trans and engine driven pto with built in overrunning clutch. It's a very good general purpose utility tractor that is best suited for gardening/truckpatch, mowing, trailer moving, pulling 5 ft. disc, driveway maintenance etc. We used his mainly for pasture mowing, he was a cattleman. I hated the engine driven pto when mowing or using the 5 ft. brush hog, when you stopped, you had to idle down before you could go again because the pto ORC would bump and make a very loud noise. I caught on to that in a hurry. You mentioned land clearing. I'm picturing trees and lots of brush. I don't think a 33HP tractor would be a good choice for that.

So even with the tree cutting attachments, you think it would not work or is it just the time element you are looking at..

Ballast the rear tires properly & only use the loader with proper 3pt ballast. My L3200 would easily pull the back end off the ground, even with a fair amount of rear ballast. Unless you are lucky or reall smart lifting the rear will roll the machine. I got lucky & didn't roll it a couple times.
Why is this such a issue with the Kubota, the lighter JD 790 didn't ever lift the rear. Would the smaller turf tires be the difference?

Every single tractor has a weak point.

Loader frame
Hydraulics
Front axle
Tractor frame
Tires
Proper rear ballast
Probably more I can't think of

Of all of those, hydraulics, specifically the hydraulic relief valve is the best one to run into.

On my Grand L it's either the hydraulics or front axle bearings. With loaded rears & no 3pt ballast I can't lift the rear. I did that once gently without moving to test. Probably didn't help the the wheel bearings that got replaced shortly before warranty was up.

On the economy Ls, specifically my L3200 I could lift the rears with heavy rear ballast. It would lift "1,200lbs" hay bales (pluss a few hundred lbs for the pallet forks), although it felt sketchy doing it. My new L4060 tops out at a 1,700lbs lift or so but weighs something like 1,500lbs more without loaded tires (which are way bigger & heavier) or ballast. So bang for your buck the L3200 had way more lift. But it had more lift than it probably should have. The actual rating for the loader on the L3200 was way less than what I lifted with it. The LA805 on my L4060 is rated for 1,700lbs or so, which I can only barely exceed when you add in pallet forks & the leverage of junk hanging a ways forward of the forks.

I'm guessing your 790 just had less lift to tractor weight than the economy Ls. Less useful, but safer.
