I think you have figured out what the deal is but I still have to post this picture just because "people" said that "that little thing cant do it"
That must be light weight hay or is that a full size round bale. I thought a round bale weighed 1500-1800 Lbs. That is more than the l463 is capable.
Here is my experience with the B3400
I borrowed my neigbors B3400 serveral times because I was to lazy ro take the BH of my
L39 and I wanted to do some box blading with my 6' Landpride. So I would not beat up his new bucket with rocks, I tossed the
L39 bucket on the
L3400. The bucket is same width but about 1.5-2 inches higher and deeper than the B3400 bucket, so it holds maybe 2-3 more Ft^3 of material.
I hand loaded the
L39 bucket with fieldstones.
The 3400 just barely could lift a barely slightly heaped filled
L39 bucket about 1 foot off the ground. Also the rear tires were almost coming off the ground even with a 600 lb BB and loaded R4's
I guess the
L3400 had about 1100-1200 lbs in the bucket, so if the fellow could not lift that little harrow, there is a problem. I bet I could lift it with my
B7200, which is good for 600 Lbs.
PS When I bought my
L39, the pressures were low. I think it is common to find new tractors not set to spec.
