Kubota L3430 HST
G'day all, Can anyone give me advice on bleeding a Kubota L3430 HST only had it a short time, we ran out of fuel & have not been able to get it going again. Put new fuel in checked filter, it was ok then had a look at the pump there's fuel going through that, but not to the top of the injectors after minutes of cranking it over ? I can't find any decompression lever so the battery is doing it tough. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

I bet that "air vent cock" is going to be small grey knob up just above the injector pump. I am guessing here as I am comparing it to my old L3400 but I suspect they are the same. Rotate knob counterclockwise to open it, and clockwise to close it.

G'day again,
Thanks guy's, but the "bleeding" info on the service site makes no sense to me as the tractor won't start, the air vent cock (small thumb wheel) was opened but nothing came out there either, we had the engine cranking over for a couple of minutes with the top nut on the injector opened & the pipe loose but nothing came out & the battery was running down so we stopped as it needs to be charged overnight........

Do you have fuel coming into the bowl and the fuel turned on?

Possible problem with the fuel stop solenoid? Blown fuse in this circuit? If no fuel out of the injector pump then perhaps the fuel stop solenoid is not letting fuel flow, I assume there is fuel in the bowl.

Yes fuel in the bowl & turned on, I disconnected the fuel line into & out of the pump and there was fuel there, though not coming out of the pump very fast ? Where's the fuel stop solenoid located ?

Wish I could help, but we have exhausted my knowledge base on this. My L5030 always responded the technique in the link I posted.

These kubotas are closed bleeding and no need to crack injector lines. Open the fuel bleed valve and make sure the fuel shut off valve is open. Attempt to start the tractor and the air will purge back to the tank and it should start and maybe running rough then shut the bleed valve.
