Any thoughts on a Kubota L3710?

I'm thinking about going to look at one, it is a 2003 and has 4100 hours.

Anything I should look for? Any problems? What do y'all think of that number of hours?

If inside stored, well maintained AND owner operated only.....early middle-age.

Will not have the complication of Tier IV emission paraphernalia.

In most cases will pull 60" wide implements. Not enough power to pull many 72" implements, which you may have.

A bit lighter, narrower and less powerful than your MF65, but much more 'modern' and user friendly.

Most L3710s were 4-WD. A few were 2-WD.
Thanks.
Interesting comment on the power, that is one of my concerns. Although, my 65 is getting very tired and I'm sure lacks the power that it once had.
I do have 6' and 7' implements. I'd rather not replace them, bit It really would not be a huge issue if I had to.

I'm really looking for something "newer" that my 1959, 4 wheel drive, and preferably a cab.

I'm really looking for a tractor with a cab.

A cab weighs 400 - 650 pounds more than the same compact tractor in open station configuration.

You need ~5 additional horsepower for that weight and 5 more horsepower to power the AC when it is hot. ~10 additional horsepower, total.

Cab weight sits mainly on the rear wheels. Few 'load' the rear tires of cab equipped compact tractors.

I'm thinking about a Kubota L3710. It is a 2003 and has 4100 hours.

4100 hours / 19 years = 216 engine hours per year.

Pretty consistent with hobby farm use.

I've had an L3710 for 25 years, all my implements are 72" or bigger, with no issues. It is HST with a 72" FEL. I use a 72" tiller in heavy clay, a 78" snow blower in up to 4' of snow, I also have a 72" brush hog and 72" box scraper. All work fine with the L3710. The only thing I wish I had is a cab. I have 1500+ hours on the tractor, with absolutely no issues other than regular maintenance.

If the one you are considering has been well maintained, it has thousands of hours of life left.
