Kubota L3800 link price

Due to my negligence I lost a 3PH link (attached photo) on the field last weekend.

I went to the dealer to get the new one and there are two types: older one and a newer one. Surprisingly new one is ~ $124 which is ridiculous price for this simple piece of metal and an older style is ~ $25. I was lucky and I need an older one for my 2012 tractor.

I notice those don't have the hole drilled in the thread of one of the ends. The hole is to push a "hairpin" straight down and it locks in the hole so the the "buckle" will not turn much. It hits the hairpin and that prevents the buckle from turning. When you want to adjust just pull the hairpin and adjust the buckle and put it back when done. Mine had the hole but did not come with the pins, but simple hairpins fit fine. Of course you can adjust the nut down to the buckle to prevent it from rotating, but the hairpin worked well for me and is faster.
