For fastest shifting use the foot throttle and run the throttle like you are
driving a truck and going through the gears, it makes shifting the quickest, if under light load will skip 1 or 2
speeds when shifting but above 8 or 9 will hit everyone as they get wider on spacing there.
So you can either let up on the pedal just between shifts, or not, as desired, correct? I have always
done the former, but I have never actually owned and lived with a GST.
I have driven a very early one, from the early 90s, as well as the L3010 and newer ones. I imagine
that the internals would have evolved somewhat.
If your jobs call for gear instead of HST, these "glide-shifts" are the best I have operated.
