Kubota L4150 4x4
Just purchased an older Kubota L4150 4x4 with loader and there is a fairly good leak coming around steering column that runs out on top of the transmission between your legs. Person I bought it from had spoke with someone who owned a similar tractor and said thought it was an o-ring. I have not tore into it but wondered if anyone has a guess if minor or major fix. I was working the tractor pretty hard as I had purchased some implements along with the tractor (6 foot bush hog and 3 point massey ferguson disc) which were both pretty heavy. leak seemed more from transmission than power steering but just a guess. I am new to this forum and my first post. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Leejohn, Thanks very much for the link. I requested the hydraulic system and steering system. Hopefully from these 2 I might get some ideas. I didn't exactly know the number of my loader so get it later.

If it is the Kubota loader it is as BF900.

Thanks Brian. It has kubota name on it but paint is slightly different orange but there are no numbers that I can find. I suspect it is BF900. That is what tractordata shows as well.

J_J, that link didn't seem to go anywhere.

That is assuming it was put on at the time that tractor was originally purchased. If it was put on later it could be an LA series loader, like an LA950. The BF loaders were all metric and by far the best loaders Kubota ever made. Imho

J_J, that worked great. Thank you. I rec'd some drawings requested from Messick as well. That should get me most of the parts list I may need.

I noticed a lot of the inventory items were "zero". Not that familiar with Kubota parts but hope there will not be a problem getting parts for an older L4150 tractor.

Thanks again.
