This post is not dead :) I am still working on beggining the cab, it has just been way to hectic and we now have alot of snow and my machine needs to stay in one piece to plow it!

I have been drawing and measuring and looking at some options and look to begin on it in the near future, as soon as I do I will post my progress, I have HIGH hopes for my build so we shall see!

Hello All,

Just an update on my cab project, after months in the planning stage, I went today and picked up my steel, I will be starting on it later in the week when my "working" vacation begins. I have around $380 in steel so far for the main framework, I will post pics as often as I can so you guys can check my work and give me pointers on it. My dream of a cabbed tractor will now be reality :D

The angle of the pictures is probably deceiving, but you aren't building your cab taller than your garage door, now are you? :D

RUS,

YOU ARE CORRECT THE CAB IS HIGHER, I HAD TO LET THE AIR OUT OF THE TIRES TO GET IT IN THE GARAGE!!! I AM GETTING ALL OF THE STRUCTURE IN PLACE THEN I WILL TAKE THE CAB OFF FROM THE FRONT AND PUT IT BACK ON OUT SIDE AND FINISH IT OFF, WHAT A PITA IT IT NOT TO HAVE A TALL BUILDING TO WORK IN!

I hope your planning it so you dont have to lift it straight up to get it off, like mine.It could be a bear to get off inside there.
Im anxious to follow this thread, youll love it when its done ,i love mine.
