Price Check Kubota L4630 GST with L853 Loader - Pricing

Greetings to all,

I am relatively new to this website, however, I have spent a decent amount of time following certain discussion threads. I have been very impressed by the considerate, and often thoughtful, responses of the members.

I am down to the wire on purchasing the following hardware and wanted your perspectives as to whether I am getting a good price.

Kubota Grand L 4630 GST w/ foldable ROPS and R4 tires
Kubota LA 853 Loader with 6' quick attach bucket

I am being quoted $24000 plus tax just north of Denver, CO (where we live).

Is this a good price? Or should I be shopping further and/or negotiating harder?

Two weeks ago, I ordered a 4630GSTC with cab, R1's, 3 remotes, draft control, work lights, radio kit, rear wiper and quick attach for the loader and paid 31,200. You can go to the MN state web site and figure out what your discount works out to be. The zero percent financing ends the end of this month and it sounds like small price increases the first of the year.

Many thanks to DUMBDOG and froggy - I have taken the plunge into the land of orange by purchasing the L4630 with a LA853 loader. I also purchased a 6' rotary cutter, a 6' box blade and a 6' New Holland tiller.

Farmer D, just bought same set-up as you. Price #24,000. paid cash and dealer paid 6% sales tax. Just delivered yesterday have not had chance to use yet. Hope you enjoy. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Lucky1 - Congratulations! You're going to love this machine. I was on it for hours today - never had so much fun mucking stalls!

I will be attaching a photo shortly.

One thing I have hit, however, is the hydraulic controls for the loader freeze when the temperature drops to around 10 degrees Fahrenheit or below. I had the dealer look at it the first occurrence - they thought that lubing would help. Apparently not. Turns out it's a problem that Kubota is aware of. The dealer is ordering a part which should fix the problem. I believe that this part will help isolate/remove water from within the control area of the hydraulic lines.

I can provide more info as I learn it if would be of benefit.

I didn't notice your tractor has a GST, mine is the HST I used it a bit this afternoon, don't know if I like the HST or not .
