There are two reasons you do not read much about L47s.
1) They do not sell many of them.
2) The ones they sell do not cause issues that make folks go running for the nearest keyboard or smart phone to complain about their L47.

Right on the money..........

Good point.with 40HP
I am a long retired "consumer"
I am now thinking that I should sell my 250 hr. L48TLB.
It doesn't have a cup holder!

250 Hours, WT....? I have a +2,500 hr old modified L39 with slightly up-sized hydraulics, Lot of ballast, and aside form having to get by with 40 hp, (slight turned up motor, but needs a turbo!) it id incredible for its size. I would never want a typical Ag tractor. Not being +60 HP & having larger tires for more flotation is its weak points.

I agree - just took delivery of my new L-47 TLB this past Tuesday. Just wish it had larger tires when compared to my previous tractor (Mahindra 2555). Can't wait to use the new features (to me) such as HST Plus , throttle-up, and auto- leveling bucket. Hope to get it dirty this weekend.

"250 Hours" (L48)
Yup, a 2006.......bought it a year ago from original owner, who rarely used it.
I will use it rarely also.
It is my new baby.
I am fussing with it a bit now, to make look almost new.
An absolutely wonderful machine!

I hear you - my stepson will be visiting this weekend and I will get a refresher course on posting pictures.

my l47 ought to be here in about a month

only options i got were a front hydraulic valve to run a grapple and a quick detach bucket

a hydraulic thumb would have been neat, but for the price it was a hard pass

what other front attachments can you run with the 11gpm flow?

Yup.....wax is good!
Cannot make mostly original paint L48 look "almost like new", without wax!
3-M compound, followed by "TR-3 Resin Glaze" (amazing stuff).
My Twin Comanche seemed faster with wax, but I seriously doubt that wax will affect L48 speed.

Just painted bucket and ROPS top.
Faded wheels and fenders (underside blasted) painted last year.

Pictures?
Probably never.
I do not understand how on this site.
Too complicated for a marginally computer literate 80 year old.
