Definitely. I love float on my toplink. But after a pile of tries & replacements my dealer couldn't get a valve for my sidelink that didn't leak down horribly. He ended up putting in a DPOV to stop the leakdown problems. I wouldn't have stood for it on my toplink, but they managed to find 1 decent valve that didn't leak down out of the bunch they tried. It got put in the primary slot for the toplink.

thats one thing Brian said to get all 3 valves as floats to increase the odds of getting 2 good ones lol

LD1 I hadn’t even considered the pulling from forces. You are right though. My issue is finding cylinders in stock lol

old and tired using whatever factory valves are.

My larger tractor with a cat 2 hitch and getting over loaded at times only has a 2 1/2" cylinder for the top link.

Oh totally understand that the center hoke doesn’t compress as far and extends further. Plan was drill holes. It was the only one found in stock. But now these guys got me thinking I need to get ones without check valves. Being new to this whole world I’m not savvy about the different sites to look at unlike when it comes to say Jeeps lol

My larger tractor with a cat 2 hitch and getting over loaded at times only has a 2 1/2" cylinder for the top link.

So should say 2.5” would be plenty for my smaller tractor then? I am very rough and abusive so might need to make sure to get a 2.5 lol. I was looking at dimensions between the cat 1 and 2 cylinders and they have the exact same numbers just bigger pins.

Brian would be a good one to answer what size he normally supplies with the larger GrandL cylinders.

With regard to him telling you to look at the side link you have in the cart.....I think he was referring to how the top connects to the tractor.

well not sure he’s going to comment since there r we get he said. Probably cause I’m not getting his at the moment. But not being able to find any I may have to suck it up and order from him.
As far as the one in the cart. Yeah I know it’s not exact. Nothing the welder can’t fix lol. Genuinely can’t find what to actually order. When I think I found it they aren’t in stock. Frustrated to say the least.

His gear is worth the wait. First set of FitRites (along with custom controls & plumbing mostly sourced from Fit Rite) sold with my L3200. Got dealer sourced ones for my new L4060. Those 3 sets of cylinders never got properly, leaked a little or a lot & just plain sucked. They finally refunded me & I waited for FitRite.

Over the years (decade or so now i guess) a cylinder developed a pinhole at a weld & a rod seal embed up weeping a bit. Both repaired under warranty with a quick turn around. Shipping was annoying, but the quick results were nice.

Good quality gear designed for your exact machine & great support for the products. I won't be looking anywhere else if I ever need a 3rd TnT set for some reason.
