Comparison Kubota L48 vs. JCB midi

Was just about to by a nice used Kubota L48, but Just came across a JCB Midi. Started checking specs & the JCB seem like a great machine, Smaller in physical size then the L48, but a little more HP , deeper backhoe depth, better lift capacity . Have not had a chance to test drive yet, wondering if anyone has a experience with these units.
Coming from a Terramite T-9, so I'm sure either will be a real upgrade
