I had a problem when lifting off the seat to see the end of the forklift forks,stuck a worm clamp around the switch and ended that problem. I have learned ,sometimes the hard way, that safety gear is there for a reason. I don't let anyone else use my tractor and feel fine with the seat and pto switches locked out. I use a pto Farmi winch and now don't have to flip up the seat to keep the engine running. One of those do as I say not as I do I guess.
