On my Kubota 2360 the loader control seems to have a problem. It seems that either the loader control lever has either moved or there is something bent somehow. When the lever is moved to the right to curl up the bucket, it hits the throttle lever. This new and has never happened before. I am wondering if there may be something bent under the cover or of something has loosened up allowing the lever to shift somehow?

Has anyone else had this issue?

Does the lever feel loose like it is turning? Can you take the cover off and look?

Haven't seen this but there must be an issue with it! Is it moving further then before?

Check to make sure that no bolts have come loose and slipped out...it's possible that looped etc. hoses could be pushing the valve if a bolt has come out...?

Fixed this problem today. Started by removing the single bolt that holds the plastic cover in place. It is at the front of the cover next to the hood.

Removed the 2 nuts holding the control lever in place. Found that there is a connecting rod that goes from the control lever to a point just under the dash. This connecting rid had worked loose. Re-adjusted to where it is supposed to be. It is a little finicky to get it just right, without being too close or too far out. Put everything back to double check the spacing, tightened everything back up. Put the cover back on.

Took a total of about 20min to do. Most of that was trying to get the adjustment in just the right position.

I wonder if it would be worth putting some Loctite on the rod, especially if it loosens again.

Jim,

I thought about it. But there is lock nuts to hold it, and the end under the dash is little awkward to reach. Even with a lower tack loo title there might be issues trying to do anything with it later.
