Kubota Loaders

Hello All,

I am probably going to jump ship to the orange line after having 3 greens.

I currently have the JD 990 with the 430 loader and frankly I am very disappointed in the loader capacity and especially disappointed in the dealer ( not deere related though).

I am wondering if any of you would care to comment on your opinion of the Kubota loaders (specifically the 853) compared to the Deere loaders.

My observation is that the Kubotas look to be far stronger than the Deere's. I never liked the Deere loaders in that they looked like with a little wear and tear they would not work well since they were designed for easy on or off.

Well, I have a problem with my loader and it may because I hit the bucket against an object and bent the arms. I just don't think the Deere loaders are heavy duty enough and would like to hear your "unbiased" thoughts.

By the way I am looking at the L5030 or the M4900.

Brian, if you could find my old posts back around this time 2 years ago, you would see that one of the main reasons I liked the Kubota over Deere was the beefyness of the loaders. While the specs on the Kubotas are a little more, I don't find that the compelling reason to go with any particular brand. As long as they are in the ballpark that is good enough. I do like the large curl angle on the Kubota. It makes hand loading the bucket easier and fuller loads when the bucket is on the ground. As far as ease of on/off, I can get my LA 723 off in less then 30 seconds, on in less then 2 minutes.

I had 4 JD tractors, first two had JD loaders, the last two had GB loaders. I now have a 5030 and LA853 loader. I do like it more than the JD loaders. I like the HD bucket on a GB more than the Kubota. That is my thoughts. My local JD dealer pushed me to Kubota because of the price. I need to send my X-Dealer a Thank you card. I do like the Kubota.
