I actually have 2 Ventrac's; a 2012 4200 vxd 26.5 diesel and a 4500p 31 hp Kawasaki gas. I did have a second operator then another one and another. It seems people want $ but don't want to work for it. Showing up to work on time is a good start. Always having personal issues interfering is another and so on. I found myself 1/2 the time doing it myself anyways. Eliminating that part of the frustration and making it so I am independent to me is a big plus. Your idea is great... just need to find the right person who is responsible. Do I want to keep hiring and dealing with bs until I find that person? or look for a tractor that works.... I might just have to bite the bullet and get an EABI http://www.aebi-schmidt.com/en/products/terratrac or equivalent. By the way I see you have a x749.. this past summer I picked up a x739. Love it.... There is tons of landscaping around the property, scalloped and tight turns and the AWS with AWD is awesome..the Ventrac's can't maneuver as well in these tight areas like the x739. I wish they did it with a diesel instead of gas motor tho but I guess JD discontinued that model.... This is my lineup...I start with the x739 doing all the small areas especially around the landscaping which is all over the place by the main house then get on a Ventrac do all the slopes and 2-3 passes along the perimeter of the whole property then hop in the NH with the batwing and finish banging out all the rest. how do you like your x749?
