Same here. Get me one too and maybe you can save a buck or two ordering more than one. :)

Problem is once ya have the roots ripped and the stump pulled, you need to go through the process of pounding pins to swap back to a bucket to bury the scraps and level it up some unless you plan on driving back and forth with the loader or something else. Still hard to bury the scraps with a FEL.

I burn the scraps. For filling the hole back in and what not, thats what my kubota is for.

IF I just need to remove a tree or two, I dont take the time to put the ripper on. But when clearing a fencerow, or around my pond with many trees. Its worth putting the ripper on, and doing all I need to before putting the bucket back on.

I have a Kubota L48, and it has 775 hrs on it from use on our construction sites. I use it mainly for digging servies, trenches, and moving fill around our sites. I hardly ever make money from it(meaning I don't work for other people, just my own building sites), it is just the convenience of not having to wait for the excavator to come and do it. It is TOUGH. Other than regular services and greasing, it has never missed a beat. It runs like a swiss watch, and the pins are as tight as new, which is suprising given that everything we dig is limestone with a few inches of "dirt" on it. We had a heater installed and a hardcab. Nice in the winter, hot in the summer though. I really wish Kubota would offer a factory cab option. We thought of trading up to a new M59, but our machine is hardly broke in and its 14 years old, and there is not that much more capability.

I am sure the M59 would be a great machine.

The book lists 12"-36" as options.

I am by no means an expert operator but I was digging some with it yesterday and in our dry hard ground I am not sure I would want to go any larger. It handles the 24" but you have to pay attention to not overdo it. Anything bigger might be too much.

I was having a problem lifting a full loader bucket to full height. I took it back to the dealer (when new) and they turned the hydraulics up too 110% and said that was safe according to Factory Spec's. My M59 has plenty of power now both loader and BH.

I think Kubota must set to the lower side of the psi range... my BX was also quite low and I set it to just under the high limit and quite a difference

Posted this question elsewhere, but since you guys are referring to the pressure in the system, what pressure is the M59 supposed to run at? What did they turn it up to?
