Saracenas how many hours was on your m9000 when the overhaul was done. Also I have a kubota M8580 that was overhauled around 5800 hours, when it was done I listened about the kubota engines not having sleeves, as mine had to be bored and sleeved. Are the engines in the kubota m9000 the same way as far as not having sleeves.

It was low hour tractor - 1215 hr only. That's why I decided to purchase it. Although an engine was running perfectly, some slight blue smoke and special smell could be felt. But a turbo quickly got out of order. I replaced it by brand new one, changed oil and filter, but soon the same has happened again with a new turbo. Then engine overhauling. We found sleeves and oil pump casing scratched from inside and - most important - clogged duct from a sump to the oil filter. Thankfully, I didn't throw the first filter I have replaced right after purchase. I cut it and found it completely clogged. Our decision was the first owner never changed a filter. Now engine and turbo run perfectly, have done more than 400 hrs. That was a special case, what doesn't mean Kubota engines are bad.

No, these engines (V3300) haven't sleeves. They are integral.
