I agree..Kubota corporate doesn't care, and most of the dealers don't care. I guess they are more concerned with those who spend 50K on AG tractors, not us little guys.

At least we found one Kubota employee actually cares about fixing the problems....

Have you done the tuning yet?

I made this post because we all know this is bull.....t. Why are we doing these adjustments and figuring out problems they KNOW ABOUT but stick there big heads in the sand to ignore. I want a recall for the low power and the rattle issue because its there problem to fix not mine. TIMSWI thanks for the email. I have been doing the Thanksgiving stuff but I'm getting all fired up with the poor Kubota customer service department. All you top Kubota managers I hope you feel guilty with your NOT earned year end bonuses.

My dealer just told me there is nothing wrong with my RTV 500. Told me that I have been reading the Internet too much. The mechanic said if any any adjusting to the servo took place after the factory it would screw up the transmission. Kubota needs to do something about these problems.

i just went by a Kubota dealer and bought the lower windshield piece and asked about the raising max no load rpm and no one knew anything about it. He claimed that everyone who bought the 500 NEVER had any complaints.. pshhh... riiiiiight....

How many of you have written Kubota's Corporate Offices about your problem? It's been a few years, but I had a problem with a Kubota tractor once and I got crossways with the salesman, so I wrote a letter to the Better Business Bureau with a copy to my dealer and to Kubota's office in California, and the problem got resolved very quickly. In fact, after a prompt phone call, a factory servce rep came to my home way out in the boondocks to see the problem for himself and arranged the repair with my dealer. It would seem to me that you would get a better and quicker solution that way than posting things like this on the Internet.

Bird, for the most part, many of us have tried but were told that's the way it is, or we don't know how to drive it (insulting you customers is always nice). You're correct that your way is the way it should work. In this case it doesn't, that's why we're venting here.

I'm a huge cheerleader when it comes to Kubota tractors, read any thread on the BX and that's obvious, on the RTV500 they just blew it it terms of power, not speed.

Of course, I've no experience at all with the RTV, but it seems nearly every company eventually produces a product that isn't up to their normal standards. But I wish you luck with getting the issue resolved.

I wrote Kubota, called Kubota, emailed Kubota and pretty well wore my dealer out on a treadle problem with a 5030HSTC. I finally got satisfaction when I sold it and bought a John Deere. I've written, sent pictures, emailed pictures, called, shown my dealer problems with pathetic welds on the door frames on my Kubota RTV1100. Kubota did exactly nothing. At about 14 months the weld that looked like bird poo broke as I knew it would. Not only were the welds absolutely terrible, but the 1" square tubing used for the door frame was a full 1/4" out of alignment where it was 'welded' together. I took both doors apart, ground off their pathetic weld, lined the frame up properly, welded them properly, repainted them and put them back together; all at my expense. Kubota wouldn't even pay for the paint! That's the way to show me Kubota!

As soon as John Deere comes with a diesel powered Gator that has a factory cab with heat and A/C, I'll likely unload my RTV1100. It's really too bad. Kubota can make quality products. Unfortunately, it looks like they are going to have to go the way of General Motors and Chrysler before they wake up and realize that those of us shelling out our hard earned cash have alternatives. Kubota really has no excuse because their product isn't crap like GM products are (yes, I own 3 of them!) and Chrysler products are. Kubota's problem is that they are complete failures at customer service and at putting any merit in customer satisfaction. Producing a very well made engine that has a great track record is not enough to keep a company ticking. I believe that they are going to have to learn the hard way that a total lack of customer service and the power of the internet can, and will, bring them to their knees. It's really too bad, but I'm not spending any money with a company that is finished with me once my check clears.
