To release pressure on a hydraulic line, lower the bucket, shut off engine, then work the joystick in all directions.

As soon as I took off the grapple, there was no pressure on the left / right turning on the joystick (curl) so unfortunately working the joystick didn’t help in this case.

A fast way to feel like a real DA is to put the loader valve quick connects on the wrong connector and then sit there and wonder why the loader will not work.
