Cool, thanks... I didnt think you could just plug the number in on the purolator website. I tried the tranny filter with no luck...

Anyone who thinks that anything built in China is poor quality is fooling themselves. It's not where it's made but how it's made and more importantly what the company that wants it built does to ensure it's built to their standards.

I bet every major brand of tractor has parts made in China on them along with every car or truck currently being made today. About 10 years ago I bought a Craftsman drill press, you guessed it, made in China. I have worked the heck out of it and it hasn't skipped a beat. I doubt you can find anything electronic that doesn't have parts in it that don't come from China (if not the whole thing).

Am I happy about it, no. But I'm also not happy about it raining outside today. I accept it and judge things based on quality over where it's made.

I have just looked at my oil filters for a B1750. The last two I bought were a new part number HH150-32094 - made in Indonesia!

It may be coincidence, but I have noticed since the oil filter change to these new ones, the oil pressure light is lit for several seconds after starting whereas it used to go out on cranking the engine with previous ones.

I have not cut one apart, but I wonder if there is / should be some type of non-return valve in there?
