I am looking at either a Kubota 2710 or JD 4300 with FEL for my first tractor. I have a VERY steep and long dirt driveway and lots of snow in western Mass. I would also use to brush hog trails in 35 acres, till and mow. Am I looking in the right direction.

Also, what attachment is best for snow removal, FEL or blower or blade?

The JD4300 has a lot more mass and capacity than the 2710/2910, and should be compared with the L3010. I have an L3010 for my 154 hilly Vermont acres and love it, though the B2910 -- with much less weight -- is by far a better climber. I got the larger tractor since I do a lot of grunt work: moving dirt and stones, harvesting firewood, etc.

As for moving snow, I have a lot of experience but probably a lot more snow than most. I'd suggest doing a search on that topic since it has been discussed ad nauseum already.
