Kubota Paint Touch Up

I have seen Kubota Orange paint on the shelf at my dealer. I have worn some paint off of my hydraulic arms tilt and dump the bucket from hauling brush. I know that it isn't going to hurt anything if I don't but I want to just to keep it looking like new. The only thing I don't care about the paint being on is the bucket. My question is can I just shoot that paint without having to use a clear coat or anything?

You need to clean it with solvent or alcohol, rough with 120 or grit sand paper,wipe it down, prime it, sand it,wipe it down, prime it, sand it,wipe it down,and then shoot it with the touch-up paint. Maybe a couple of coats!

I have taken a plastic cup and sprayed some paint into the cup. i then use a small hobby paint brush and paint scratches . i usually let the paint fill the scratch.

i mounted a small tool box on the fender and just sprayed it with the kubota paint. it really turned out great looks factory.

Kubota also makes a small bottle of non aerosol touch up paint with a brush in the cap. The paint is thicker something like the old "Testors" model car paint. My dealer gave me a bottle of this with my tractor. I'm at work now so I don't have the part number handy.

The bottle I have is the New Orange II color, matches the BX's. If anyone is interested I'll get and post the part number.

Here ya go Larry,

Part nunber is 70000-73768. Kubota Orange II. No quanity listed on the bottle but it is about 1 3/4" tall and 1" in diameter/brush in cap.

I ordered an extra bottle when I ordered my Shop Manual and I believe they charged me $4.00 if my memory is working....
