If you plan to use the FEL on that 2WD tractor, keep in mind that a loaded bucket takes weight off the rear tires and you loose traction. You need a LOT of rear ballast to compensate.Thanks for the thoughtful replies. I don't like the 2wd either. I have 2 4wd tractors and the extra axle pulling has helped me enough times to know that it is desired. I was thinking about this as the power source for my JD 375 4x6 baler primarily but the asking price is pretty high just to offset having to deal with a heavy and cumbersome PTO shaft on the baler.
Depending on what ballast you use, you may have to detach that heavy bailer PTO driveshaft anyway.
