Price Check Kubota pricing web page

</font><font color="blue" class="small">( I've just updated my pricing page. I have been maintaining this price list for several years now, but I haven't been following Kubota tractor pricing as closely as in the past. If you have any corrections, please let me know. If you know the official list price on the B7410DT or some of the smaller FEL's, let me know. )</font>

I love your auto-calculating form. Simple but sweet. Now, if only we could get you interested in the the L series tractors. Come on, you know you want a bigger one.

It has been 4 years since I made the Kubota pricing web page. Lately I have not been following prices very carefully, and I'm starting to think that, at least in its present form, my web page has outlived its usefulness.

I based the "good" and "great" prices on the discounts people reported a few years ago. Since then I've kept the discounts the same, and I've tried to keep up with current list prices, but I really haven't kept up with what people report they have been paying.

I don't want to give anyone unrealistic goals in seeking a purchasing prices, so I'm wondering if someone would like to take over management of the page? You'd have to find your own bit of web space, and you could adjust the pricing formulas to accurately reflect the market.

There's not much work involved, so let me know if you are interested.

Will,

I think someone has picked up your page and expanded it to all Kubota lines through the Grand L's. And it's a Kubota dealer! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

At the bottom of the linked page is the matrix for the BX line, and all other lines have links at the top of the page. The layout looks pretty similar, huh? And their selling prices, before freight and prep charges look to be 15% off of MSRP.

There are a few errors on some of the calculations, but overall it's pretty good. I think we should all thank Alderman's for offering all of this info, and also let them know when we find an error. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Of course, you are to be commended for plowing this field in the first place, Will. Your page has provided a lot of potential buyers with a lot of good information over the past four years.

Wow, that really is the spittin' image of your page Will. I say that if you are tired of keeping up with it you can feel good that it is available for others.

As one who used your page many many many times when looking into my own Kubota purcahse, thank you very much for the time and effort involved.

This is excellent. A dealer has immediate access to current list prices, and an obvious incentive to publish prices that are low enough to lure customers, but high enough to stay in business.

The number one question I've gotten in response to my pricing page was if I knew dealers who would actually sell at those "good" or "great" prices. Their page answers that. I think I'll redirect people to their site in the future, and I guess I'd better fix my signature while I'm at it.

As always, thanks for the info,

Will

Will, maybe you should offer (for a fee) to fix their website. It's had Javascript errors for sometime now. At the same time maybe you should tell them that if they are going to take the code from someone else's page and remove the "great price" field that they should also remove the code referencing it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
