I've discovered this website a couple weeks ago and I'm very impressed with the help and time everyone gives. Any feed back to my question is welcomed.

I'm not sure of what tractor Kubota tractor to purchase. I live in Connecticut and recently cleared 1/3 acre of woods. Several large rocks are poking from the ground, small, medium and large tree stumps. Also have a long driveway and many projects from planting 20-30 6-8 foot trees, fence posts. Also have another acre to get to so I'm not sure if the BX23 is enough. I asked my local Kobota dealer to send me literature on the next 2 Kubota models from the BX23 and he mentioned a BX seventy something (can't remember the exact model) but I don't see this model at Kubota.com
Does anyone know the next model up from the BX23 to look at.

Thanks

I wouldn't necessarily size the machine on the basis of the biggest problem (rock, whatever) you have, but what you expect you will be doing for years afterward.

My 3010 is great for the bigger stuff, my wifes 2200 is perfect for small stuff like cutting grass, etc.. I need to do both. Many people have a clean up project or something and then just general maintenance.

You could consider paying somebody to do the big stuff and you may save some money by getting a 'rightsized' machine.

I called my local Kubota dealer for a 3rd time today and the receptionist stated the salesperson's wife had an accident with a horse and my experience wasn't the norm. I soon after received a cell phone call from a salesperson, and had to repeat the details of my request for quotes for a BX23 with a FEL and backhoe, along with a quote for the next two model ups. I'll give another day. Thanks for the vendor lead in NH. I'll call if I get no response by the end of Saturday.

I don't have a e mail address for them and I don't believe that being in NH, that they are that far advanced from the last century. The are still dealing like a business of the 1950's. Old fashioned people doing business the old fashioned way. A handshake is all you need. Guess that is why they have been around for 65 years. I won't say that they are the least expensive, but they do offer old fashioned service. Reliable!!!
