Was just awarded a snow plowing contract for a multi home community
Involves road plowing and salting, which I have covered with 2 trucks and a farm tractor equipped with snowplows.
However, there are a lot of wide sidewalks and paved & grass walking trails to plow.
I have been researching a multi use piece to plow these wide walkways, as well as the summer work they want us to do (year around maintenance). My budget is 10k, so Obviously looking at moderately used units
I know theres a LOT of UTVs out there, but I have narrowed my choices down to 2 UTVs
John Deere 6x4 with Curtis soft cab and snowplow most are $5000-$8,500
Kubota RTV 1100 with factory cab and snowplow most are 10k+. Might have to break the budget slightly.
I know the Kubota has a nicer cab and features, and it will cost more up front.
The Deere looks simple and tough, albeit less power no AC, crude heat, soft cab and slightly less traction.
Prefer the Kubota, but it will be going to cost more to buy and fix. Love the idea of AC in the summer and the extra power and features.

Anyone have comparison thoughts or actual experiences with either?
