FWIW, I love the automatic braking of the RTV. Yes, some people probably need to learn to feather it a bit when letting off the throttle.
We live in steep hill country and it's nice just easing off the throttle when you want to slow down or stop.
Yes it has a brake peddle but the only time I use that is when I stop to shift on a hill, or if I want to hold it steady while winching a log to me.
Yes, it's not a speed demon, but it goes plenty fast for the ground we have here. Rarely do I ever try to get it up to top speed. It's plenty fast as far as I'm concerned.
Our is almost 4 years old and we have 488 hours on it. It gets used almost daily.
