It's just the rules, man!:D
But Congrats if you actually have it. Had to pull my new RTV1140 out yesterday to retrieve my Grands and Pete after they slid down my front yard a few times on a Toboggan.

They make a great ski lift.

THAT'S THE FACTS JACK!!!!!!!! My wife and even 40 year old son in law and 6 year old twin Grands don't want to do the walk back up more than one time and not even one time if they don't have to. I let them do the one time so they will totally appreciate my pick up service.

Tim I'll get pictures up tomorrow. Tonight I've been cruising the neighbor circuit with a nice rum and coke in the cup holder.:) I have to say that in High that thing has trouble going up a hill.

I think they are governed down pretty low aren't they? A friend of mine had one and he said the speed was pretty slow; don't remember what the top speed was though.

I've done the same thing..Except with 12oz silver cans...Enjoy!!!

High depends on the hill...M does everything well..Including plowing snow...

I let my son in law drive my RTV1140 a couple of days ago. I was driving it in M down the hill and on level ground. It was moving at a fast enough speed for me with the Grands on board on a paved road. When I let my son in law drive he put it in H I guess figureing it would go faster but he was coming up the fairly steep hill and commented it was a bit slow. It goes faster in M going up the steep hills than in H. My tractors do/did the same. To me the high gear is like trying to drive a car or truck up a hill in high gear. I usually keep my RTV1140 in M 2wd unless I'm going over really rough terrain, through the creek or up a really steep hill or down a snow covered steep hill. I went down a steep snow covered hill yesterday in 2wd which I won't do again the same as with my Kubota tractors. Better keep it in 4wd going down slick steep hills. It started slipping side ways on me like a car on a slick road in 2wd and in 4wd it acted like it was on dry pavement.

Once you learn the thing and listen to it , you can feel when the hydro goes into bypass and the slow speed motor starts doing the work. I live up on a hill here and H is good if you get a run at it and not loaded but spend most time in M and it does not matter much if empy or with a load of wood or a bed full of gravel it just keeps chugging up the hill. Biggest thing I like is I take my foot off the pedal and it just about stops all the way on the hill. One of my ATVs has some engine braking on the hill and the other does not so I save those for riding trails.

I'll tell you...Plowing snow with a power angle, heat and stereo is living. Plowed my first snow with this thing on Saturday it was under 20 degrees with wind and it was a blast!!! Only 4 inches, but we're supposed to get hit again tomorrow with around 6 inches. Last time they said that, we got 3 feet. Probably won't happen like that this time though.

Love this thing for what I'm using it for.

Question for the other 1100 owners...Do you get a power sterring whine when it's good and warmed up? Noticed this when it was 90 out and again on Saturday. I've only run it for a few hours constantly a few times..That's when I notice it. I think I've seen others mention this, but not sure. Want to see if it's normal...Warranty is out in March..I think.

Mine does at near full turn, it does at full turn but also before reaching full turn, the whine noise. Just thought it's when I'm really slow or stopped which has the engine running slower so it hasn't been a real concern but something I have noticed.

Well I put 2 hours on my RTV1100 tonight in the snow with the heat on and listening to the HD radio. All I can say is wow...it's so nice to be riding around in the snow and not have to dress so warm that you can't move.
