Kubota RTV X1100 new speakers

I was tired of not being able to hear my radio, so l built this rear speaker mount and replaced the speakers in the roof. I used Polk DB 401's in the roof and Polk DB 651's in the rear speaker mount. I get a lot better sound that is clear and much more enjoyable to listen.

I like it. Good location unless you're 8.5 feet tall

There is no problem with head room, I used high strength aluminum alloy to help with weight. The sound is much better. This just bolts on with the two existing bolts that is in bottom part of the head liner. I have looked online but never found anything that would work for the Rtv X1100. Thank you for your compliment.

I know I have an extra 16"+ in my 1100 and I'm 6' tall...Your placement is perfect, might have to steal your idea.

At least with the RTV 1100 you can alter the head liner where the speakers are located but with the RTV X1100 they put a jog down in the location of the existing speakers so there is no way to cut it and put a speaker grill over it. I made some templates to get the shape right before bending the metal. I used .063 thick 6061 aluminum and then made the end caps to fit.
