Why don't they offer that or any remote hydraulic on the RTV 1100?

Any idea of when? Will it become standard?

won't be standard. Heck we've never sold a utility valve kit. Its just a matter of time I'm sure. You do know what this is for right?

We had equipmet in the Army that was hyd powered and beleive me that pavement breaker did a slick job, the chain saw wasn't no slouch neither.

I looked at this as I am looking at buying a UTV sometime and thought this option would be great for in the orchard and vineyard. Then I priced out the attachments and that was the end of my thinking about it:(

I ended up buying a Husqvarna pole saw and hedge trimmer and they work great for our use and I am not tied to a hose and the pole saw was a lot cheaper. For the hand trimmers it would be easier for me to buy a pto powered air compressor and use that like we did when my neighbor owned the farm. Then the hose only has air in it instead of fluid so it is easier to drag up and down the rows.

I have a hydraulic tamper which takes about 5-6 gpm. It would be nice for fixing fence. Skid flow is a little fast at idle and tractor is about right at higher rpms. RTV should be similar to tractor. I am also consider a hydraulic pole chain saw for trimming trees.

If you get a hydraulic pole saw would you please post a review? I know it is cheaper to buy a gas powered top of the line pole saw then the hydraulic version. The gas powered units also are not limited to the length of the hose which is what turned me off about the hydraulic versions. Using them in bucket trucks make sense because the hose is short and you don't have to walk around any. I just couldn't see a good use for them off of the RTV to justify the price. The post pounder would be a good option though as would a few of the other hydraulic tools. I just wish the price of the tools were a little more reasonable as this could be a good thing.

The price of hydraulic tools are a bit nuts. My plan was to use a hydraulic pole saw in a small man lift on my skid steer or CUT. I have walnut trees I was wanting to prune. The reach of the pole saw seemed like a good idea instead of the weight or noise of a chain saw.
