Kubota seats.

My arse is aching after 3-4 hours, grand l 40 cab, cloth seat? Is it me or did kubota find & hire the guy that designed the granite bench?

Hey, at least your in a cab!

I mowed and bushhogged for 2 hrs yesterday here in the humid south. I was drenched in sweat and all the dust and seeds were sticking to me. Too many low branches for a cab.
I'm happy though my L3240 really is great.

Last spring I changed out my seat to this one: K & M Manufacturing - KM 136 UNI PRO Man what a difference.

I wasn't particularly fond of the seat on my open station L3130. I just got off my 5740 cab the first time this weekend and I can say that I'm still not impressed. The funny thing is that Kubota actually brags about the thing in the brochures. In fact, I seriously considered a John Deere before I bought my L5740 because they had an air seat available.

No it's not just you.
I have an L3400 which seems to have the seat vinyl seperate from the foam routinely. They just gave me a new seat, I haven't tried it yet though.
The seat you bought looks nice, how much did you actually pay for it?

The seat cost me $500. You can adjust the air to your exact weight. I have had three back operations and this seat has given me back some mighty fine seat time this summer!

I don't think seats are kubotas strong point.

On my b3030 I replaced the seat, per Neal Messicks advice, with one from a Kubota mower. Cost near $400 I guess, but is comfortable all day long, and back then I'd heard nothing but bad things about the stock b seat.

Seat on my m59 seems pretty comfortable - roughly the same as the new one I put on the B, various adjustments for suspension. But I haven't really driven it for long periods over a rutty field, my operation is very stop and start, even though I'm on for hours.
