A very nice thing to have. I ordered mine from Carver @ 33.00 + S&H. I felt it was just part of the investment.

When I purchased my bota,and I figured the dealer was as low as he was going, I told him that he had a deal if he would throw in the workshop manual. He said ok, when they delivered the tractor the manual's where there plus the parts manuals for tractor & loader.And the manuals cover 4 or 5 L models.

I thought Kubota parts were expensive, until I priced a service manual for a case tractor. About $350.

The Kubota manual will pay for itself in a few repairs. It could also pay for itself by reducing the damage done by, for example, the wrong torqe spec.

Thanks to all for the responses - looks like I'll be ordering a set today ... it will give me something to look at (and a reason to tinker with the tractor) in the next few quiet months between the last grass-cutting and the first snow here in Pennsylvania!!

I got my manual for my BX at Modern Equipment 423-928-0261 . I paid 37.31 for manual (97897-12460) and that includes shipping. I talked to a fellow named Ronnie and he gave me a link to download parts manual for the tractor and MMM which is in Adobe acrobat (pdf) format, which I saved to a cd-r, for quick reference on my puter/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

What was this URL? Were these parts manuals "free" to download? Were there other models available? I'm looking for a L2850DT parts manual...
