Kubota service????

I bought a new L3010 a couple of weeks ago yesterday, I sold my old Kubota and decided to purchase a FEL. They picked the tractor up last Tuesday, said it would be back on Friday...guess what? Friday came and no tractor, said it would be back on Tuesday (today) and you guessed it no tractor. I'm starting to wonder if I purchased from the right dealer or not. He was very helpful at first but now seems to care less about how good his service is. I called and they say they can't find out anything about the status of my tractor. Am I over reacting here or just anxious to play with my new toy? Has anyone else experienced this type of service from their dealers?

My experience has been that this time of the year they are real busy Steve. Just may be that they are backed up temporarily.

Never had any problem w/my dealer..Townline Equipment Plainfield,NH over the years,but I did have to wait my turn for service etc.. for they were real busy.

I'm little surprise the dealer didn't offer to do some tracking down,and give you some sort of and answer tho.

This is the busy time. My new 2910 went back because the BH was seeping a bit from the valve body, had to wait for the new o-rings and it came back almost two weeks later. I know my dealer isn't just sitting there with my unit tore down waiting with wrench in hand. I've been to the shop when it looks like an open house or a give-away day, wall to wall people...and a lot of tire kickers. Patience is easier spoken than practiced, at least for me.

Yeah I really think its probably just related to this being the busy time of year. I was at my dealer getting prices on some attachments and after going over some stuff with him, I just told him I would get back with him since there were about 5-6 guys either wandering around the lot or standing there watching us talk!

I agree that this is the busy time of year. The dealer said it would be ready last Friday, and still doesn't have it on the following Tuesday, and can't say why or when it will be ready. I don't understand the lack of communication. I think a call asking for an explanation is more than in order. Emergencies happen, but can't a loader be installed in less than 4 hours? I would accept a reasonable explanation, and do think one is in order. Without one I'd be leary of this dealer. JMHO
