I have a 2007 BX24 and have located a used snow-blower that will fit my tractor, model number: BX2750C but I haven't seen it yet.
The dealership where I had purchased the tractor tells me that I will need a sub-frame part or accessory to mount the snow-blower. The seller is unfamiliar with the terminology and can't tell me if the snow-blower implement he is selling includes this component. I don't know what it is either so I don't know how to describe it. The dealer isn't much help in describing this sub-frame component. Does anyone out there know what exactly this is? what it does? and what it looks like? and is it an expensive part in the event it is not included with the snowblower attachement?

to use this blower on a BX24 or BX25, you need a BX2751 quick hitch and a BX2753 mid PTO shaft.
seems to me the seller should have these items as well, if he was using it on a BX.
I recall the older BX models (BX22 & BX23) used a different length mid PTO shaft, a BX2752, but the same quick hitch.

The sub-frame (QUICK HITCH SUBFRAME) is an assembly that mounts on the front of your BX frame. With that installed, you can "plug" on front mounted attachments - the snow blade or a snow blower or a sweeper. With the snow blower, you also need the MID PTO DRIVELINE KIT - a PTO shaft and other pieces that allow you to use your mid mount PTO to drive the front blower.

When I go on the Kubota site and use the "Build My Kubota", I select the BX25 (since the BX24 isn't sold anymore) and select the options I'm interested in. Then when I "print quote" I get a list of the components, along with the part numbers. It seems that the BX25 stuff fits the BX24. When I actually order the stuff through my local dealer here for my BX24, those BX25 part numbers are what comes.

I just recently ordered the snow blade. When I did, the Sub-frame had to be ordered. The plow, skid shoe kit, and sub-frame numbers for the BX25 on the quote I had done were what showed up when they arrived at my dealer. Same when I ordered the grass catcher. So, if it's the same for the snow blower, here is what it shows for a BX25:

BX2751-QUICK HITCH SUBFRAME - $604
BX2753-MID PTO DRIVELINE KIT - $624
BX2750D-50" FRONT MOUNT SNOWBLOWER - $1977

Note that the part number for the actual blower is different than what you have. I guess your dealer would know though if he said that the BX2750C is truly compatible...
