Not sure, but doesn't sound too far off. When you say no hydraulic control kit, are you meaning there was no frontloader and joystick?

When I sold my BX2250, I sold the BX5450 front blower and mount separately to another buyer. The blower did have electric chute rotation and deflector controls that I built and included. That and the subframe got sold for $2500 IIRC and the guy was tickled to get it! You don't see many good ones for sale used.

you sold the blower you did all that work to..... they got a good deal.....
If you don't mind what did you replace it with ?

A B3350HSDC with B2782B front blower. I will say it's nice to sit in an heated/air conditioned cab sipping coffee instead of having a gust blow snow back at you making you look like a frozen Sasquatch. However, Kubota blew it with the DPF which is a long term maintenance liability. I retrospect, even though I live a a high altitude (4850'), I'd get the B2650HSDC, and suffer a bit less power, if doing it again.
