I went to look at a Kubota B/L2563 snowblower. The guy said it was about 10 years old but that they still made this model. Does anyone have any specific knowledge about Kubota Brand snowblowers. It is a 3 pt hitch 60". It was pretty rusty but not rusted through. The impeller seemed to move freely.

Asking $1000.00 but I was thinkking of offering 800. I drove through the snowstorm to see it and planned to pick it up but it was in the middle of an equipment yeard and surrounded buy other junk. Could not get it out. He bought it at an eqpt auction, or so he claims.

Just looking for comments on this model.

Thanks... Tim

$1,000 seems high for a 10 year old blower with unkown hours. Others here at TBN have bought new blowers (not Kubota brand) from $1,000 (springtime) to $1,500.

How mechanically inclinded are you? If you feel comfortable assesing the blower, then make an offer based on how much life you feel the blower has left in it.

Good luck.

HAZMAT...

Thanks for the reply. Ken from Sweet Farm Equipment has informed me that they sell a brand new "Farm King" blower that seems pretty decent. And his price is good... AND he responded VERY quickly. In my mind they should be a good dealer to buy from. His price is only about $500 more than the 10 year old rusty one I looked at.

Thanks for the info...

Tim
