Kubota L3600
Hey, just wanted to get your guys thoughts on this. I purchased a Kubota SVL 90 a couple months ago. One of the main uses I have for it is mowing and mulching, so I wanted high flow and that's the main reason I went with the 90 and not the 75. It wasn't till the last second that I chose to go with the Track Loader, I was checking out a bunch of the L and M series tractors, and going through all the specs with a fine tooth comb. As I went through the PDF specs on the L and M series, there would be certian specs that were labeled as (option). So when I changed my mind and started looking at the SVL 75/90 specs I saw nothing listed as option and everything I read about the SVL 90 seemed to suggest that it was high flow, including the owners manual, in no place I read that it was a option. So $85,000 later with a new tractor and a new mulcher, I go to put it in highflow and realize I don't have it...
Just want to get your guys opinion and hope you could spend a minute checking out what I'm talking about. The machine works fine, but highflow would make a significant difference in mulching operation. I asked my dealer about it, and he kind of agreed with me but acted like there was nothing I could do. On that note he did offer me options and never mentioned highflow when we talked about that.

Thanks in advance!

My hat off to you. I would be spitting nickels is I was you. Just work with the dealer to "make it right"!

Best of luck!

... thats gonna be a problem. If you've not put hours on it yet odds are it can be retured for a high flow model.

Is high flow even available? It's a great looking unit but I would suspect there are going to be some features found on a Bobcat that is going to its envy. At least for a while.

Yes. Of course there is high flow.

Bobcat has made a good machine. However prevailing opinion seems to be that Doosen is not doing good things for the company. I'll be curious to see where they are in 5 years.

Just curious - If the main use is for mulching and mowing why an $85000 trackloader?

I said "one" of the main uses.
The track loader is the right tool for what I do, it's working great like I expected, it just doesn't run the mulcher fast enough. I use it for tree work/forest clearing, it's pretty sweet so far. Trying to get a Anbo grapple in the next month or 2.... hopefully:)

Yes it's availible.... and a comparison bobcat is not built as well! That's what I am upset about because everywthing you read on Kubota's site comes off like it's standard, including the manual (which I skimmed through before I bought it.) I left my dealer a message today, hope I here from him soon. Even if I had to pay a little extra I'd like to trade it in, but I feel like I shouldn't since it was never offered as a option and it's written up like it's standard.

That is kinda a bummer but I do think you are in a pickle.

I looked up the specs http://kubota.com/product/SVL/pdf/svl_spec.pdf

and while it doesnt say Standard and optional, it does say standard and HIGH.

If that was such a selling point for you (as it seems to be), I probabally would have gotten clarification on exactally what that meant.

Hopefully you havent put TOO many hours on it and hopefully your dealer is willing to work with you on it. Especially considering you just spent 85k with him. Maybe even see what it takes to install the high flow option on YOUR machine

I was thinking the same thing about standard and high, but right above that it says travel speed, low and high, everything on the specs for the SVL series is standard besides the high flow, it is misleading. On all the other spec pages, it does not list anything that is a option without stating so.
I already asked about installing it, and they said it would be next to impossible.
And... Like I said in the original post, all extras were offered, like enclosed cab and AC, extra valves, etc... nothing was suggested that high flow was a extra.
