In this area, we have Normangee Tractor which has more Kubota's than you can shake a stick at. Seeing a Kubota here is quite common, but generally this has been, historically, greee (JD) country. If I buy it, I don't plan on selling it anytime soon because it should be enough tractor for my needs for ten years or more.I have the JD 5303 set up as you mentioned which is the basically same tractor as the JD 5065E. So far I have been very pleased with the 5303 and the sync shuttle transmission has met my needs. I have pulled turning plows and 8' disk harrow without issue. The consensus seems to be that the hydraulic shuttle/power reverser transmission is preferred, but for the amount of hours I put on one doing loader work, I feel the standard transmission would be sufficient. For what it's worth, the JD unit seems to hold a higher resale if you plan to sale at some point. I too agree with the choice being between the JD and Kubota.
Why's that?
